SaaS solution

Full management platform for selling products both on marketplaces and independent online stores

Introduction

Shufersal and SuperPharm, the largest retail chains in Israel, have heavily invested in order to establish a virtual marketplace and connect private retailers in the platform. The retailers manually upload their products, one by one. However, there is no direct sync from the marketplace to the retailers’ online stores.

The Goal

The client is an eCommerce entrepreneur who wanted to provide a solution and help eCommerce brands and micro-brands to list products on marketplaces, and sell directly to consumers.

Research and Insights

To better understand the end user, I drafted a short questionnaire to understand the challenges before starting the design process
Retailers face challenges in uploading products to marketplaces due to high complexity, cumbersome User Interface, and reliance on Excel files.

Retailers are forced to manage inventory and synchronize data via additional platforms. This is subject to humans errors while tracking inventory and usually will require excess headcount.

Upon a customer purchase transaction, the order is recorded via the marketplace. The retailers are required then to track and handle the purchases via their own stores.

Research Insights

Users from Generation Y and Generation Z took at least 3 courses on at least 2 platforms in the past two years.

Most users who enroll to online courses do not necessarily finish them all

People take online courses as part of training at work, for personal and professional development, and enrichment

The Solution

SaaS comprehensive solution that enables the retailer to self-manage end-to-end transactions of the marketplace and their private store simultaneously, easily track purchase orders, and save substantial time, resources and money.

Wireframes

I started with a low-fidelity sketch to understand what works before I move to figma to create a more detailed and accurate prototype.

User Flow

In designing the User Flow, the focus was on simplifying the process for retailers. The system enables them to seamlessly upload products, monitor inventory, and manage orders with ease. The user journey was crafted to be clear, quick, and require minimal effort to transition from one step to the next.

Design

The final design emphasized the use of the brand colors. The design process included user testing to ensure that the system was not only aesthetically pleasing but also efficient and tailored to the retailers’ needs. The result was a design that balanced form and function, making the system both attractive and highly usable.

User Flow

Once we understood the user stories and the necessary functionality, I started with a simple user flow
